Night Lights

Blurred Light:Light Sketching:
Camera Motion:
Light Painting:

1. Late Night Snack Shack; 6/10/11; 10:03 pm; Porter Park, Rexburg; f/5.6; 2.0; Kodak Easyshare M1073 IS

I love frozen custard. Enough said. To help inspire this shot I got a vanilla concrete with brownie chunks. I love the colors of the neon from this restaurant and I thought it would make a great background for this shot. I did not edit this shot.

2. Primary Colors are 1,2,3; 6/9/11-6/10-11; 10:30-11:00 pm; My Apt. Rexburg; all with f/2.0; all with 4.0 shutter speed; Kodak Easyshare M1073 IS

These were all different shots that I combined into one in Photoshop. I did a bunch of different motions to help create an interesting design. I had the end product in mind while doing these shots. In Photoshop, after I combined all the lights, I changed the color of a few using the Color Balance tool under the Image-Adjustment tab.

3. M is for Moon; 6/9/11; 11:15 pm; Stone Brook, Rexburg; f/5.6; 4.0; Kodak Easyshare M1073 IS

I zoomed in for this shot so that the moon was bigger on my screen. Put the moon in the corner and I drew the “M” from there. I did not edit this shot in Photoshop.

4. Door to Where?; 6/10/11; 10:15 pm, Macey’s Room, My Apt; f/2.9; 4.0; Kodak Easyshare M1073 IS

I could only find one LED flashlight for this shot. I had to move fast, to paint just certain parts of the door. I put two sheets of paper over the flashlight and painted from a few different angles, but like I said, with only four seconds I had to work fast. This was not edited in Photoshop.
